8.5 Fuses and LEDs of the controller
Fig. 24
Dosing controller
In the correct operating state, the LED (1) is green, and the
LED (4) is yellow. If there is a fault, e.g. if no more programs are
available or the memory card is defective, the LED (1) is green
and the LED (2) is red.
In this case:
• Turn the controller off and on again. If the error still occurs:
• Switch off the controller, remove the battery, switch the
controller on again. Wait for the program to be loaded from the
memory. Insert the battery again. If the error still occurs:
• Reinstall the program, or change the memory card.
8.6 Possible faults when changing the tank
Each of the suction lines has a pre-empty and an empty-signal
contact. If the level in the container reaches the "pre-empty
signal" contact, an alarm message appears on the display, yet the
system does not stop.
If the level reaches the "empty signal" contact, an alarm message
appears on the display, and the system shuts down.
Pre-empty signal
The system remains in operation until the empty-signal contact is
activated.
Empty signal
The system switches off automatically.
Change of tank at "pre-empty" alarm
The "pre-empty" alarm appears on the display.
1. Remove the suction line from the tank.
2. The system switches off automatically, the "HCl or NaClO
2
empty" alarm is displayed.
3. Fit the suction line into the new tank.
4. Press the [F4] key to acknowledge the two alarm messages.
5. Press [Enter] to re-activate the system.
Change of tank at "empty" alarm
The "empty" alarm appears on the display.
1. Remove the suction line from the tank.
2. Fit the suction line into the new tank.
3. Press the [F4] key to acknowledge the two alarm messages.
4. Press [Enter] to re-activate the system.

Warning
Only use standard tanks.
Never pour the contents of the tank into another one!
There is a great danger of residual chemicals being
poured into the wrong tank.
Note
The procedure is identical for both tanks: If both
tanks are changed, up to 4 alarm messages have to
be acknowledged, before the system can be
re-activated.
