shaft seal type and the pump type. The maximum
liquid temperature is stated on the pump nameplate.

Do not use the pump at flow rates below
the minimum flow rate. The motor risks
overheating.
11.1.4 Ambient temperature and altitude
The table shows the maximum permissible ambient
temperature at full load and the maximum permissible
installation altitude above sea level at full load.

Motor output derating factors
If the ambient temperature exceeds the maximum
permissible temperature value or the pump is
installed at an altitude exceeding the maximum
permissible altitude value, the motor must not be fully
loaded due to the risk of overheating. Overheating
may result from excessive ambient temperatures or
the low density and consequently low cooling effect of
the air.
In such cases, it may be necessary to use a motor
with a higher rated output.
