Automated Roll-Up Sides
Install Guide Post Stop Bolt
Gather parts:
• (2) FAG334B Bolts (5/16" x 2")
• (2) FALF37B Locknuts (5/16")
INSTALL GUIDE POST STOP BOLT
The guide post stop bolt prevents the motor and trolly bracket assembly from sliding off the bottom of the guide post
when side panel is closed. Install one bolt through each guide post below the bracket attached to the motor.
Complete these steps:
1. Close the side panel and mark
the stop bolt location 1/2" down
from the bottom of the motor
bracket.
NOTE:
Ensure stop bolt position will
allow bolt (when installed) to contact
the bracket as shown.
2. Raise or lift the motor assembly
for clearance. Using a drill and
3/8" bit, drill the stop bolt hole
through the guide pipe.
3. Insert the 5/16" bolt through the
hole and add the 5/16" locknut.
4. Tighten using 1/2" wrench and
1/2" socket with a ratchet.
5. Lower the motor to check for bolt
and bracket position.
6. Ensure end of guide pipe remains
above the ground when side
panel is closed. Cut pipe to length
if needed.
7. Repeat the procedure to install
the stop bolt for the remaining
roll-up side guide post.
