Glued joints can be disconnected by heating.
Excess of glue can be removed easily by using a knife with a heated blade. It is best to remove adhesive
drops after they harden.
Pull the application trigger (6) carefully in order to precisely dispense the adhesive.
Excessive pressure can lead to clogging of the stick in the gun and block the shifting mechanism of the
stick. In such situations leave the gun to heat up for 10 minutes and slide out the stick.
TOOL STARTING:
Install stands (8) and slide in the thermoplastic adhesive into the pocket (3). Put the glue gun on the
stand (8), (alternatively on a cardboard or wooden mat). Put the plug in the mains power supply.
Wait for about 7 minutes until the glue gun heats up. Pull the trigger (7) and apply the adhesive. Press
fi rmly the glued objects and correct their position if need be. After a while (depends on the type of the
glue used) the gluing area can be fully loaded.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:
Unplugging the power cord from the socket is an absolute necessity before the maintenance work is
started!
Any maintenance works or repairs requiring removal of the engine housing must be done by the main
service provider or by authorised service providers.
Keep the tool and the handles dry and clean. Keep clear of grease and oil. Venitalion slots should not
be obscured.
Check regularly all the external parts of the tool and control the proper functioning of the switches.
Do not use the tool if any of its parts are broken or a switch does not work properly.
If the stick slided in too deep into the gun, heat a new stick at the tip of the gun, bond the tip of the
heated stick with the tip of the stick in the gun and slide out the sticks carefully.
Caution! Entirely remove stick for gluing. Hot glue fl owing through the gun can cause damage.
If the breaks in the work are longer than 30 minutes, switch off the tool to avoid thermal decompo-
sition of thermoplastic adhesive.
