Application

Self closing mixers with thermostat are designed for hot water
supply via pressurized storage heater and utilized in this way
to provide the best temperature accuracy. With sufficient
power (from 18 kW or 250 kcal/min) electric or gas instan-
taneous heaters are suitable.
Thermostats

cannot

be used in connection with low pressure

storage heaters.
All thermostats are adjusted in the plant at a flow pressure on
both sides of 3 bar.
If temperature deviations should exist due to special instal-
lation conditions, then the thermostat is to be adjusted to the
local conditions (see Adjustment).

Installation

Plaster and tile the wall, excluding the area occupied by the
installation protection.
1. Unscrew screws (A) and keep for mounting retaining cover,

see fold-out page II, Fig. [1].

2. Cut off rough installation protection (B) tile-justified.
3. Fasten retaining cover (C) with screws (A), (C1) and

washer (C2) through the rough installation protection at the
installation box (D), see Fig. [2].

4. Fasten protection chain (E) of retaining cover (C) at cover

plate (G), see Fig. [3].

5. Connect hose (H) to cold water isolating valve (H1),

see Fig. [4].

6. Connect hose (J) to cold water isolating valve (J1).
7. Connect hose (K) to shower connection (K1).

Open isolating valves and check connections for leakage!

Final installation

1. Engage wall plate (G) in the support frame (C) from above

then press it in and down, see Fig. [5].

2. Fasten wall plate (G) with screw (G1) using the allen key

supplied.

Operation

After pressing the operation cap (L) the water flow releases for
the factory set running time of 15 s, see Fig. [6].
After run off of the adjusted time the valve stops the water flow
independently and without recoil.

Setting the running time (2 - 180 s)

To change the running time please proceed as follows:
1. Activate adjusting mode by pressing the operation cap (L),

see Fig. [6].

2. Hold operation cap pressed, the water flow starts 10 s after

pressing.

3. Release operation cap after achieving the desired running

time (2 - 180 s).

4. Confirm adjusted time by pressing the operation cap twice

(doubleclick) within 2 s.

Increasing running time tenfold (max. 1800 s)

• Press the pushbutton cap again twice (double click)

within 2 s following the short water pulse (1 s).

The tenfold running time is confirmed by two short water
pulses (1 s).
The running time will be confirm by a short water pulse (1 s).
If the running time cannot be set, the running time setting is
deactivated. In order to activate the setting time, cartridge
maintenance must be performed, but

without

 replacing the

battery, see description in the

Maintenance

 section.

This product corresponds to the request of the
appropriate EU guidelines.

Warning

Do not stay in the wet area!
Use suitable aid.
