b) 11 min:
- Continue to press and hold the actuating cap (approx. 5 s)
until the water flow is again interrupted for 1 s.
- Release actuating cap.
- By pressing the actuating cap twice (double click) within the
next 2 s, start continuous running for 11 min.
Setting temperature limiter
Prod. no. 36 233 and 36 251:
1. Remove screw (E), see Fig. [5].
2. Turn mixer lever (F) until the desired maximum temperature
is reached.
3. Detach mixer lever (F), see Fig. [6].
4. Detach stop ring (G) and reattach with notch (G1) pointing
vertically upwards.
5. Turn mixer spindle (H) anti-clockwise to the stop.
6. Assemble mixer lever in horizontal position.
Maintenance
Inspect and clean all components and replace if necessary.
I. Cartridge
The battery must be replaced 10 years after initial operation of
the fitting, at the latest.
Batteries which are almost discharged are indicated by a
pulsating water jet.
1. Remove screw (I), see Fig. [7].
1. Pull out cartridge (J) with battery (K).
2. Remove battery (K), check the contacts, clean and, if
necessary, replace the battery.
3. Actuate cartridge (J) once by pressing the actuating cap.
4. Insert new battery (K).
The fitting is now in installation mode for 3 minutes;
no
water flows on actuation.
Reassemble in reverse order.
Installation mode is terminated after 3 min. or by pressing the
actuating cap twice (double click) within 2 s.
Shut off hot and cold water supply.
II. Solenoid valve
, see Figs. [7] and [8].
Reassemble in reverse order.
When inserting into adapter (N), solenoid valve (M) must be
turned clockwise against the stop.
Ensure that seals of adapter (N) engage in the grooves on the
housing. Fit screws (L) and tighten
evenly and alternately
.
III. Filter
, see Fig. [9].
Reassemble in reverse order.
IV. Unscrew and clean aerator (42 832)
, see fold-out page I.
Reassemble in reverse order.
V. Mixer spindle
1. Detach fitting from connections.
2. Remove fitting from basin.
Removal is as described in section
“Setting temperature
limiter”
points 1 to 3, see Figs. [5] and [6].
3. Remove screw (U).
4. Pull out mixer spindle (H).
Reassemble in reverse order.
Screw (U) must engage in groove (H1) of mixer
spindle (H).
Replacement parts
, see fold-out page I ( * = special
accessories).
