When not in use, install the eyepiece and objec-
tive lens caps and place the scope in the protec-
tive case. store the scope and tripod in a dry,
room-temperature environment.
NOTICE
Natural skin oil can permanently damage
the lens coating, causing a reduction in
viewing quality. Never touch the lenses with
your fingers.
Cleaning
use compressed air or a lens brush to remove
any dust or debris from the lenses. to remove
dirt from the lenses, use a soft, clean cotton cloth
and lightly rub in a circular motion from the center
outward. For a more thorough cleaning, apply
a photographic-type lens fluid to the cleaning
cloth—not directly on the lens.
NOTICE
Using coarse fiber cloth or any paper prod-
uct can permanently scratch the lens sur-
face. Use only soft, cotton cloth to clean
the lenses.
