The string retainer mounts between the 1st and
2nd strings (

To install the string retainer:
1.
Place the string retainer on top of the 1st and
2nd string near the second tuner.

Using a

" drill bit, drill

" deep holes
straight through the holes in the string retain-
ers.

Drilling the holes deeper than

could result in drilling out the bottom of the
peghead.

Slide a #2 x

screw through a retainer and
small bushing, and fasten it to the back hole
on the headstock
