Grizzly Imports, Inc. is proud to introduce the Model G1173 4" x 24" Oscillating Edge Sander. The
Model G1173 is a part of Grizzly’s growing family of fine woodworking machinery. When used
according to the guidelines set forth in this manual, you can expect years of trouble-free, enjoyable
operation and experience proof of Grizzly’s commitment to customer satisfaction.
The Model G1173 is designed to sand the edges of wood and wood composite material. It is suit-
able for sanding small to medium sized surfaces as well as small contoured or beveled pieces.
Lightweight portability makes the machine easy to use, and the unique oscillating motion of the belt
will add life to your sanding belts The sander comes complete with a

electrical package.
We are also pleased to provide this manual with the Model G1173 Sander. It was written to guide
you through assembly, review safety considerations, and cover general operating procedures. It rep-

To operate this, or any power tool, safely and efficiently, it is essential to become as familiar with its
characteristics as possible. Take as much time as necessary to become acquainted with the Model
G1173. The time you invest before you begin to use this machine will be time well spent. Also, read
