Place a straightedge across the outfeed
table, so the end of the straightedge is direct-
ly over the knife.

If the outfeed table is set correctly, the
straightedge will lay across the table and
barely touch the knife when it is at top dead
center (see illustration in Figure 31). Verify
that the outfeed table height reflects this con-
dition.
5. If the outfeed table needs to be adjusted,
release the outfeed table lock and adjust the
height by rotating the handwheel that is
located below the table.

When you have the outfeed table properly
adjusted, lock the table height in place.
To adjust the infeed table:
1.
Make sure the outfeed table is adjusted as
previously described.
2. Place a straightedge half way on the outfeed
table and halfway over the infeed table.
3.
Release the infeed table lock and adjust the
infeed table flush with the outfeed table as
illustrated in Figure 32. The infeed table
should be exactly the same height as the
outfeed table.
4.
Lock the infeed table in place.
5.
Set the pointer shown in Figure 33 to 0 on
the depth indicator scale.
