11. Align the holes, and secure the stand to the
sander with the remaining hex bolts, wash-
ers, and hex nuts (
figure 13).
note: If the holes do not align, add wood
shims to adjust the block heights.
12. lift up on the stand and remove the blocks.
13. tighten the mounting bolts.
10. lay the stand on the blocks as shown in
figure 12.

15. thread the handwheel handle into the
handwheel and tighten it.
16. Slide the handwheel over the shaft, making
sure the shaft pin (
figure 15) inserts into the
slots in the handwheel.
17. Secure the handwheel with an m5-.8 x 10 cap
screw and 5mm flat washer.

14. tilt the sander upright, as shown in figure
14, so the rear legs touch the floor.
if the legs start to slide when tilting, you
must have a third person hold the stand
from sliding to avoid personal injury or
machine damage!
