7.1 Lamp specifications
Kolorglobe MK2 7000 is designed exclusively for use with XStage 7000 W.
The lamps are part of the Xeno family of discharge lamps and must be handled with great care. The lamp oper-
ates at high pressure, and the slight risk of explosion of the lamp exists if operated over its recommended life. We
recommend, therefore, that the lamp be replaced within the manufacturer’s specified lamp life.
At every lamp change, reset the lamp life counter using the unit control panel. This help you to remember when
replacing the lamp.
The lamp specification, available via your Griven distributor, are shown in the table below.
7.2 Lamp installation
In order to carry out the operation comfortably, we suggest to lock the PAN and TILT movement of the fixture, as
previously described.

Attention!
Installing any other lamp may create a safety hazard or damage the fixture!

Attention!
Disconnect the unit from mains supply before servicing it or performing any other action.
The lamp is very hot during operations! Wait at least for 30 minutes before changing.
Wear all necessary protective garments to handle the Xenon lamp (gloves, protective mask, etc.)
Lamp is to be replaced exclusively with the unit positioned vertically, as per following picture.
