1.0 PACKING
Check the content of the box carefully and in case of damage contact your forwarder immediately.
The following items are included in the box:
Box 1 (Flight case 1)
n° 1 instructions leaflet;
n° 1 GLOBE unit (upper body: lantern);
n° 2 XLR 3-pole plugs (1 male + 1 female);
n° 1 supply plug.
n° 1 Cable for the electronic strobe
Box 2 (Flight case 2)
n°1 ballast unit for GLOBE (lower body: ballast)
2.0 SAFETY
Even if this lantern is fitted with a safety micro-switch which automatically disconnects power as soon as the lamp cover is opened,
disconnect the lantern from mains supply before replacing the lamp or servicing the unit.
- This projector has been designed for outdoor and indoor use. For safety operation, maximum ambient temperature must not exceed
35°C.
- Caution: the temperature of the temperate glass surface of the projector can reach 200°C.
- Caution: hot lamp; ensure that the lamp is cold before attempting to remove it (wait for about 30 minutes).
- Please put on the wheels brakes to avoid unexpected movements of the unit.
Act on the Feet rotating them clockwise and counter clockwise to align perfectly the unit with the ground.
- It is mandatory to mount the (supplied) wheels to the ballast if this is utilized without a flight case. This action will guarantee a
proper cooling of the unit.
3.0 INSTALLATION
3.1 Lamp Installation
Before mounting the lamp, insert the Tilt Stopper (ref.: paragraph 3.2) and press the dichroic filter group of the unit slightly
downwards to remove appropriately the screws as per pict.1
Caution: Xenon lamps are high pressure lamps and therefore for safety reasons you are invited to follow meticulously the
lamp manufacturer's instructions included in the lamp package before the installation of the lamp itself.
