1.0 PACKING
Check carefully the content of the box and in case of damage contact your forwarder immediately.
The following items are included in the box:
n° 1 RADIO SIGNAL TRANSMITTER;
n° 1 Instructions leaflet.
IP65 PROTECTION DEGREE - RADIO SIGNAL TRANSMITTER is more than 1 mm solid
bodies proofed and water jets, wherever coming from, will not cause damage to the unit.
2.0 INSTALLATION
The transmitter can be fixed by 4 screws through the 4 holes as shown in pict. 1(a).
Holes dimensions, which are readable in the back side of the main box, are 100 x 145 mm.
2.1 Electrical Connection
Opening the transmitter:
Remove the main cover, by untightening the 4 fixing screws
(see b, pict.1);
A 3 poles x 1.5mm

(minimum section) is needed for con-
nection to mains supply.
Fit one end of the supply cable through the cable clip (see c,
pict.1) and connect it to the junction-box. Make sure that
GND, Phase and Neutral polarities are respected.
Ensure that the cable clip screw nut is properly tightened, so
that the unit will be dust and water proofed.
Connect the unit to power supply (230/240V - 50/60Hz).
Make sure that mains supply is correctly grounded.
2.2 DMX signal cable connection
Fit one end of the DMX signal cable through the cable clip (see d, pict.1) and connect it to the
junction-box. Make sure that the polarity which is written on the label is respected (GND, DATA-,
DATA+).
Ensure that the cable clip screw nut is properly tightened, so that the unit will be dust and water
proofed.
Make sure that wires are correctly connected to the junction-box. It is recommended to use a 2
poles + armour shielded wire (Armour: GND, Pole 1: Data+, Pole 2: Data-).
