1. Register S/N (found at bottom of packaging device) at GPEN.COM/register
2. Fully charge battery from micro USB port located at the bottom of device
3.The button LED will shine red while charging and turn green when fully charged. When battery needs
charging, the button LED will blink red eight times. If battery reads a short circuit or improper tank connection,
the button LED will blink red three times.
4. Twist G PEN CONNECT tank into top of G PEN CONNECT adapter fully.
5. Twist G PEN CONNECT male glass adapter into bottom of G PEN CONNECT adapter fully.
6. Insert G PEN CONNECT into female joint of water piece
7. Remove cover G PEN CONNECT tank
*after consecutive max heat activations, please allow tank cover to cool for at least two minutes before touching.
8. Load concentrates *onto bottom ceramic plate of the G PEN CONNECT tank and cover
* the G PEN CONNECT is intended for use with concentrates only
9. Attach G PEN CONNECT battery from circular connection point of battery onto matching circular plate on
side of G PEN CONNECT tank
10. Press G PEN CONNECT battery button five times to power ON/OFF
11. To toggle between three voltage output levels, press button three times:
BLUE / 3.1V
GREEN / 3.6V
RED / 4.1V
12. Press button two times to initiate automatic heat activation. Button will flash for 5 seconds indicating heat-up
phase, then hold solid for an additional 1 seconds indicating maximum heat output.
13. Pres and hold button for manual heat activation for up to 15 seconds.
14. Press and hold side button of G PEN CONNECT adapter after heat activation for increased airflow and
clearance of vapor from water piece.
