1 General
1.1 Intended use of GCO 100
The GCO 100 is a high value CO-Measuring instrument for the measuring of up to
1000ppm (0,1Vol %) CO in ambient air.
Via the adjustable alarm function the instrument warns the user optically (display) and
acoustically (integrated horn) when dangerous concentrations are present.
The device must not used as a monitoring device for the personal safety !
The measuring inlet is at the opening of the front plate.
Applications

control and maintenance of heating systems

monitoring air quality (signalling exceeding of the maximum allowed working place
concentration MAK)
•
detection of CO in the breath of smokers
•
detection of CO-toxication of victims of fires (Fire brigades)
