10. When “ TIME” appears, enter the time when interval printing is to stop, in hours and
minutes.
11. When “TIME YY” appears, enter the current year.
12. When “TIME m-d” appears, enter the current month and date.
13. When “TIME h:m” appears, enter the current time, in the 24-hour mode.
14. Pressing the button again returns to the first parameter, to enable or disable the interval
printer.
15. Press the MENU button to save your setup.
If you selected “01” in the first or last step to enable the printer, the
icon appears briefly
while the printer prints out the start time, date, and the interval frequency. “INTV” remains on
the display until the function is disabled. Subsequent reports show the following format:
Line 1: hour:minute:second month–day
Line 2: thermocouple mode thermocouple type value temperature units
Using Interval Printing
Interval printing can be enabled in two ways. Once enabled, the printer will print a report based
on the frequency that was programmed in the setup. It will continue to print reports for up to
24 hours or until you stop it manually. You can bypass the 24-hour limitation. “INTV” appears
on the display when it is enabled.
Note: While interval printing is enabled, no other buttons, except PRINT and FEED , function.
To enable interval printing, do one of the following:
• Press and hold the PRINT button for 2 seconds. This method overrides the 24-hour
limitation, and the interval will be that which was programmed through the MENU button.
• Press the MENU button and then press the or button until “01” appears on the display
(“00” disables interval printing). Follow the steps under Setting Up Interval Printing to set
the start and stop times and other parameters if they are different than the stored
configuration. This method limits interval printing to 24 hours or less, depending on the
configured start and stop times.
