Do I need to have the computer connected to the meter in order to
store data?
A :
No. When using the meter away from the PC, simply push the
RECORD button on the meter. The meter will display “Record”
icon. To stop recording, push the RECORD button again. The data
has been saved and can be retrieved by the PC interface at a later
time.
Q :
How do I record data into the memory of the CMPL-100 meter?
A :
When the meter is connected to a PC and the POWER METER
program is running, click the “Start Record” button. Both the
meter and PC display will display “Record”. To stop recording,
click the “Stop Record” button.
Q :
How do I transfer data from the memory of the CMPL-100 meter
to the PC?
A :
Follow the instructions in the Set-Up section. Click on the “Load
Memory” button.
Q :
How do I save the transferred data to a disk?
A :
Follow the instructions in the Set-Up section. Click on the “Load
Memory” button. When the “Recording Meter - List” window
shows up, choose the save option.
Q :
How can I view a saved file using POWER METER software?
A :
Use the “Data File” option on the “Display” pull down menu to
open a saved file into list format.
