555BAT™ Battery-Powered Bender

Preparation

Batteries can produce explosive
hydrogen gas.

• Use this bender in well-ventilated

areas.

• Do not allow metal or conductive

objects to contact the battery
terminals.

• Do not use this bender near an

open flame.

Failure to observe these warnings
will result in severe injury or death.

Do not attempt to charge a very cold or frozen
battery. Damage to the battery could result,
causing acid to spray out.

Failure to observe this warning can result in
severe injury or death.

Electric shock hazard:

• Do not modify the charger power

cord or plug.

• Inspect the charger power cord

before connecting to a power
source.

• Connect the charger power cord

to a 120V, 15-amp grounded
receptacle only.

Failure to observe these warnings
can result in severe injury or death.

Batteries contain acid. Wear rubber
gloves and face shield. Use insu-
lated tools when inspecting or
working with the batteries.

1.

Place the bender on a firm level dry surface.

2.

Check the circuit breaker to be sure it is in the
OFF position.

3.

Remove the pins from the bender.
