As it is a height installation, it would be advisable to use a ladder or lifting
platform.
INTRODUCTION
In this manual we will review the installation of both complete streetlights
and the exchange of a traditional streetlight bulb for an LED one.
In the installation of led lanterns we can find different anchoring systems,
carefully review which is your system and follow the instructions.
INSTALLATION
1.
CHANGE OF LED BULBS IN LAMPS:
INSTALLATION OF LED BULB FOR LAMP (WITH EXTERNAL DRIVER)
1.- Verify the absence of voltage and make sure that the luminaire is grounded. It is
essential to check the anchors and supports of the entire mechanism.
2.- Cancel or remove all auxiliary equipment from the luminaire. Ballasts and starters
must be completely bypassed before connecting the new LED bulb.
3.- Check that the existing cables and strips are in perfect condition. If not, replace
them before proceeding with the installation.
4.- Check the correct fixing of the E27 or E40 lamp holder to the luminaire.
5.- The bulb works with direct current. For correct operation, connect the output
cables (+ -) of the supplied driver to the lamp holder. The (+) cable, which is red, must
go to the head, and the (-), which is black, must be connected to the metallic
threaded body. Never connect the bulb directly to mains voltage!
6.- Screw the bulb into the socket and power the luminaire.
