PRODUCT USE
CHARGE INDICATOR
To display the amount of charge remaining in the battery, press the charge level indicator button.
• The four green lights indicate that the battery is full of its charge capacity.
• Press the indicator button once, the LED shows the battery capacity.
• The smaller green flashing light indicates that the battery is almost exhausted and should
be charged immediately.
• More than one flashing green light indicates that the battery is too hot or too cold.
BATTERY PROTECTION FEATURES
LITIO-ION 40V batteries are designed to protect LITIO-ION cells and maximize their life span. If
the tool stops during use, these may be the causes:
a. The maximum power consumption of the battery has been exceeded, causing the tool to
stop automatically turning off. Release the trigger to reset the tool and pull the trigger to
resume operation.
b. Excessive temperatures will cause the battery to stop feeding the tool. Touch the battery, if
it is too hot, let it cool down.
If the tool still does not work, recharge the battery.
