note: if the sequence is not
identical in both the transmitter
and the receiver, the unit will
not work. 

Press button ’D‘ on

the transmitter to check that the
chime works and carefully
replace covers as above.

Test your doorchime by moving
the receiver in different rooms
and varying distances from the
transmitter to ascertain the
coverage available in your home,
this way you are unlikely to miss
any visitors.

Fault : Chime does not sound

Cause : Check batteries are not
flat and they have been inserted
the correct way round.

Re-check the sequence of links in
the transmitter and receiver if
the house codes, or tunes have
been amended.

The screws
must be fixed
flush or the
battery will not
maintain
contact

terminals and the 

unit will not operate.

Skip to STEP 5 unless you
wish to change the factory
set tune or house codes.

The unit comes with a factory-
preset tune. The tune is
determined by the sequence the 

two links are 

arranged 

inside the 

transmitter
as shown in 

Diagram 6. 

Remove the 

cover as in 1a) -

leaving the battery in.

Using a pair of tweezers, lift one
of the black links and reposition
it carefully so that it is in one of
the three positions as in Diagram
6. For the unit to operate, both
links must be used, although
their position does not matter.

Press button ’D‘ to hear the
sound each sequence produces.
Carefully replace battery and
cover, once preferred tune is
selected.

The unit comes with a factory set
code, only change it if you
experience interference from a 
neighbour’s unit. Remove covers 

from the transmitter and
receiver as in steps 1a) and 1b)

Position the transmitter and
receiver as in Diagram 7.
The house codes are changed by
removing identical sequence of
links from both the transmitter
and receiver as shown in
Diagram 7. e.g. if the third link
from the left on the transmitter
