Take the following steps to set up a 2-wire/party line connection;
•
Connect the complete party line.
Changing anything to the party line setup afterwards might require you to go
through the setup steps once again.
•
Switch off all mics on the party line
•
Go to the setup menu and select Audio Line Setup
•
Select the Mode for the party line type or line level
•
Select Run Auto Null
•
Select the Call mode as DC or AC or off
•
Adjust the threshold in such a way that the Slim Audio Interface will not
activate when no one is talking on the party line
•
Adjust the To 2-wire and From 2-wire levels for final finetuning
•
Select the desired user from the User Line
•
Make sure that Auto Talk is enabled on the channel to send received audio
(normally channel 1)
NOTE:
If you are experiencing an echo on the Green-GO system, it might be due to
the Slim Audio Interface 2-Wire unit not correctly canceling out the audio sent onto
the 2-Wire/party line and unintentionally sending it back into the system.
