HUMIDIFY/DEHUMIDIFY Switch - Press red switch up for humidify mode
and down for dehumidify mode.
Piggy-back Cord - To power the controller, insert the male end of the plug into a
surge protector that has been plugged into a wall outlet.
Piggy-back Cord Face (female end) - Plug humidifying, dehumidifying
equipment or fan into the female end of the piggy-back cord to activate and
deactivate equipment based on the dial set point.
Humidity Dial (Knob) - Set this dial to maximum or minimum desired humidity
(set point) to activate and deactivate equipment plugged into piggy-back cord face
(see description for (4) below). With the controller set in HUMIDIFY mode, when the
humidity in your environment falls below the set point, the humidifying equipment
plugged into the piggy-back will activate and run until the humidity increases by 5%.
With the controller set in DEHUMIDIFY mode, when the humidity exceeds the set
point, the dehumidifying equipment or fan plugged into the piggy-back cord will
activate and run until humidity drops by 5%.

1. Plug the piggy-back cord (3) in to a surge protection unit (min
850 Joules).
2. Plug surge protector into 110 Volt outlet.
3. Plug a fan, humidifyingor dehumidifying equipment in to
piggy-back cord face (4). Do not exceed 15 Amps maximum
for all equipment.
4. Set red switch to desired HUMIDIFY or DEHUMIDIFY mode.
5. In HUMIDIFY mode, adjust dial (1) to minimum desired
humidity; In DEHUMIDIFYING mode, adjust dial to maximum
desired humidity.
NOTE: Settings over 80% and under 20% are less accurate
and not recommended.
