4.3 Precautions while charging battery

INTRODUCING YOUR ZEAL

| 4. BATTERY MAINTENANCE

I. Do not switch on the vehicle while

the battery is being charged.

II. Charge the battery away from

children. Do ensure that they do not

play with the appliance.

III. The charger is made up of high

voltage electric circuits – do not

dismantle it.

IV. Prevent liquid and metallic

particles from entering the charger

during use and storage.

V. This charger is designed for

indoor use. Use the charger under

dry and airy conditions.

VI. If you detect a weird smell or

overheating during the charging

process, please stop charging

immediately and contact an

Ampere service outlet or send the

charger to a retailer for servicing.

VII. Do not attempt to recharge any

non-rechargeable batteries.

VIII. If the supply cord is damaged,

it must be replaced by an Ampere

service outlet or retailer for

servicing.
