3-Point with Wing Flex or Wing Lock
Make sure the low pressure return line from the fan is
connected to the tractor low pressure SUMP return before
folding or unfolding the planter. Operating the wing flex
circuit dumps oil (from the rod ends of the flex cylinders) into
the low pressure return circuit, so the low pressure return line
must be connected to the tractor.
Folding
Refer to Figure 30
1. Completely raise the planter. See
“ Raising/Lowering 3P3025AH ” on page 31
2. Remove the inner wing lock pins and install them
in the storage locations .
3. Remove the outer wing lock pins and install them
in the storage locations .
4. Activate the fold circuit to fold the planter.
Unfolding
Refer to Figure 31
Crushing Hazard:
If the planter is not unfolded all the way, a crushing hazard is
present. Bystanders could be crushed between the folding
planter wings and the planter center frame, or caught in the
folding mechanism. To avoid serious injury or death, unfold
the planter all the way. Never work on or adjust the planter in
the gullwinged position.
1. Completely raise the planter. See
“ Raising/Lowering 3P3025AH ” on page 31.
2. Activate the circuit to unfold the planter.
3. Install outer wing lock pins .
4. Lower the planter to allow the wings to lower to their
working position.
