3. Follow procedure for installing deck (see
Installing Mower Deck on page 31).
IMPORTANT: During operation be sure to
use the correct scale in the height-of-cut
indicator (Figure 34).
HOC INDICATOR ADJUSTMENTS
For accurate cutting the height shown on the
HOC indicator dial must match the cutting
height.
Adjust Index Wheel
1. Release tension on HOC belt (see
Adjust HOC Belt Tension below).
2. Move transport lock knob into off (up)
position.
3. Move deck to lowest position – 38 mm
(1.5") or 64 mm (2.5") depending on
high/low range.
IMPORTANT: Deck is in lowest position when
deck lift contact arm is seated on the lowest
position of the HOC cam (Figure 35).
