Connect to the UCP

3901 / IQUCP25 / IQUCP50 card with RollCall. The connection is made

to the card’s MANAGEMENT / IQ modular chassis Ethernet interface.
To set the IP address of UCP

3901 card’s Ethernet interfaces, see

Densité frame control panel to set the Card’s IP Addresses

, on page 38.

The generic UCP

3901 / IQUCP25 / IQUCP50 card is supplied with software which contains

each of the available Software Defined Cores (SDC),

unlicensed

. By default, a new UCP

3901

/ IQUCP25 / IQUCP50 card starts up with the Essence Processing core selected

but it is

unlicensed

. You must then license the SDCs you will use.

3901 card only, set the IP address for the

MANAGEMENT

Ethernet port. See

2 Click

Connect to RollCall Network

button in the main toolbar.

3 Using RollCall, connect to the card as follows.

• For a UCP

3901 card, use the card’s

MANAGEMENT

IP address, at port 2050

(default).

• For an IQUCP25 / IQUCP50 card, use the IP address for the IQ modular chassis

Ethernet port, at port 2050 (default).
