Once the cycle has been selected on the basis of the
temperatures and the specific movement (see the successive
description of the work cycles) considering the various type
of fabrics, linked to the symbols normally used by the textile
industries on the labels of the same, load the drum and close
the door.
8.1.3 ECONOMY FUNCTION
This function increases the heating hysterisis: It is NOT to be
intended as the “½ load button”.
“Heating hysterisis” means the re-ignition point of the heating
system after the work temperature has been reached for the
first time. The activation of the ECONOMY function lengthens
the intervals between the heating switch-ons. If this function
is activated it allows to save energy being detrimental to
slightly longer working times: therefore it must be managed
directly by the operator depending on the necessity of the
laundry.
The NON-inserted function is indicated by a full sun “
” on
the display, while the ACTIVATED function leads to the switch
on of a half sun.
8.1.4 START CYCLE
Start the cycle with door closed by acting on the START / STOP
button: after this operation the display on the control panel
shows the various phases of the selected cycle.
At the same time the START/STOP button is pressed, the time
starts to decrease that indicates how much time remains until
the end of the cycle.
The display always shows the name of the selected cycle,
while it alternates the display of the phase in progress and
the time remaining until the end of the cycle.
8.1.5 RAPID PROGRESS AND CYCLE END
During the execution of the work cycle, the cycle advances
by one phase every time the START / STOP button is pressed.
By holding the button for 5 seconds the cycle end is reached
directly.
A beep is heard every time the button is pressed. At the end
of the cycle the appliance emits a sequence of beeps for 15
seconds.
This sequence can be interrupted by pressing the “ – “ button
during its execution. Moreover, using programming it can be
eliminated completely if it is not necessary.
8.1.6 SIGNALS RELATIVE TO ALARMS AND FUNCTIONING
ANOMALIES
In the case of various anomalies, (power cut on over-heating)
the appliance signals this by various types of alarms that will
be seen on the DISPLAY on the front panel. All details are
explained in the “MACHINE ALARMS” paragraph.
