usermod -a -G dialout [USERNAME]
and
press enter.
5. Type in the command
group
again. Notice if tty
and dialout is still not included. For the
addition to take effect, restart your computer.
6. Once the computer restarts, open the
Ubuntu’s terminal software and type in the
command
groups
. See if
tty and dialout
is
added.
