The black flag is used when
you need to control the spill
light from your flash. This is
helpful for blocking light from
your subject, or when you do
not want light bouncing to
other areas and affecting your
photos. Typically, this is used in
off-camera strobe applications.
USING THE BLACK FLAG
1. Insert the black flag into
either side of the EZ-Flip
Gel Holder so that the
silver side is facing the flash.
2. Position the EZ-Flip Gel
Holder so that the black flag
blocks the light of the flash
from the area you do not
want illuminated.
