Grounding

The equipment must be grounded to reduce the
risk of static sparking. Static sparking can cause
fumes to ignite or explode. Grounding provides an
escape wire for the electric current.

To ground the agitator, connect one end of the
ground wire (G) to the ground connector (GC) on the
side of the agitator and/or drum cover. Connect the
clamp end of the ground wire to a true earth ground.

For an additional ground wire and clamp, order Part
237569.
