A PLC can control and monitor all items
shown in the Customer Digital Inputs and
Outputs shown on the Diagnostics screen. See
Appendix A— ADM, page 96 .
When the PLC has control of the system:
• Functionality is restricted from the ADM
• Automatic crossover is disabled. Rely on the PLC
and machine state indicators to know when to
cross over using the I/O.

Note
All outputs are normally open when power is
OFF. For error (alarm) output, the contacts
close when an alarm occurs. For all others,
contacts close.
Note
The TOF system ships with two screw
terminal connectors that plug into MZLP
connectors H1 and H2. Connectors are
located in a bag on the inside of the electrical
enclosure. To replace the connectors, order
kit 24P176.
1. Turn main power switch off.
2. Open the electrical enclosure door.
3. Route I/O cables through strain relief.
4. Remove power from the PLC.
