Calibrate Screen 1 initiates a pump pressure check
(stall test) for the selected pump. During the test, the
Stall Test screen will appear.
The pump and lines must be primed with a
component (not solvent) before doing the stall
test. See
, to set test
parameters. See
,
for complete test instructions.
To initiate the test, press the Pressure Check
button for the desired pump. The system will first
check the inlet pressure due to the material supply
pressure. If this pressure is greater than 90% of
the Stall Test Pressure, the system will generate an
alarm and halt the stall test. The pump will build
pressure in the line to a minimum of the Stall Test
Pressure. The pump will then move to the center
stroke position and stall test the upstroke, followed
by the downstroke.
NOTE:
NOTE:
NOTE: The Last Passed log can only be reset by
successfully completing the test.
The screen displays the number of days since the
last stall test was passed for each pump.
