Pressure Relief Procedure
Installation
1.
Disconnect power.
2.
Relieve pressure.
3.
Remove plug (or in existing installations, proximity
switch) from divider block o-ring port you will be
using to install the proximity switch.
4.
Screw the proximity switch into the port. Torque to
15 ft. lbs (20.3 N.m)
5.
Reconnect power source.
6.
Verify the yellow status indicator LED illuminates
when the switch is compressed and there is power
supplied to the divider block.

Relieve pressure
in the system following the procedure
recommended for your operating system or pump.
NOTICE
•
Electrical ratings must not be exceeded. Over-
load on a switch can cause switch to fail on the
first cycle.
•
Never exceed pressure limits. Unit can be oper-
ated up to maximum pressure on a limited basis
(i.e., set-up, testing) but continuous operation
must be restricted to the designated adjustable
range. Excessive cycling at maximum pressure
limits could reduce sensor life.
