Grounding
WARNING
FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARD
Before operating the pump, ground the
system as explained below. Also read
the section FIRE OR EXPLOSION HAZ-
ARD on page 2.
1.
Pump: Connect a ground wire (A) to the pump as
shown in Fig. 1. Connect to the other end to a true
earth ground. Order Grounding Kit (Part No.
222084)

Air Compressor: Follow the manufacturer’s recom-
mendations.
3.
Use only metal or conductive containers.
4.
All solvent pails used when flushing, according to
local code. Use only metal pails, which are con-
ductive. Do not place the pail on a non-conductive
surface, such as paper or cardboard, which inter-
rupts the grounding continuity.
