5-A To Assemble Portable Bassinet • Para

WARNING

SUFFOCATION HAZARD: Infants have suffocated:
• In gaps between extra padding and side of the bassinet, and

• On soft bedding.

Use ONLY mattress pad provided by Graco. NEVER add a pillow,

comforter or another mattress for padding.
• Portable bassinet can roll over on soft surfaces and suffocate

child. NEVER place product on beds, sofas, or other soft surfaces.

• To reduce the risk of SIDS, pediatricians recommend healthy

infants be placed on their backs to sleep, unless otherwise advised

by your physician.

FALL HAZARD: To help prevent falls, do not use this product when

the infant begins to push up on hands and knees or weighs over

20 lb (9.1 kg), (approximately 5 months), whichever comes first.
• In raised bassinet mode, always check that the bassinet is securely

locked on the product by pulling upwards on the portable bassinet.

• Child’s activity can move product. NEVER place product on counter

tops, tables, or any other elevated surface.

• Portable bassinet not intended for use as infant restraint devices in

motor vehicles.

• NEVER use this product as a means to transport an infant in a motor

vehicle.

• Use portable bassinet with only one child at a time.
• Never place a child under the portable bassinet.
• The bassinet must be fully assembled and installed, including 6

bottom tubes, mattress pad, 4 rails and side rail snaps, before using.

Do not modify bassinet or add any attachments that are not listed in

the owner’s manual.

• You are responsible for providing adult supervision when using your

bassinet.

• DO NOT store the bassinet in the product while product is in use.
• To help prevent heat build-up inside the product and to avoid

overheating your child, when using the bassinet DO NOT use an

outdoor canopy. Bassinet for indoor use only.

• If a sheet is used with the mattress pad, use only the one provided

by Graco that is specifically designed to fit the dimensions of the

bassinet.
