12 Firmware Upgrades

The m108 features field upgradable control firmware. Over time firmware updates may become avail-

able to improve functionality or implement new features. These can be found and downloaded from the
Grace Design website at

http://www.gracedesign.com/support/support.htm

. The current firmware ver-

sion is displayed on the m108 screen at power-up. Currently, firmware upgrades require a Windows PC
with the Grace Design m108 USB Driver installed. Mac OS upgrade software will be available at a future

date.

12.1 To update the firmware on the m108:

1. Download the m108 firmware package from the Grace Design Website and unzip it on your com-

puter.

2. Turn off the m108 and connect your PC via USB to the USB 2 port on the m108.
3. Turn on the m108.
4. Open “GraceDesignAudioDfu.exe” application installed in the Grace Design USB Audio Driver Direc-

tory. The default path for this application is C:\Program Files\Grace_Design\USB_Audio

5. Once connected, the m108 will be recognized by the firmware upgrade application. The manufac-

turer, product and current firmware version fields will be updated with the m108's configuration.
