Messages

Text messages

SMS (Short Messaging Service) and EMS (Enhanced Message Service) allow you to send text messages
and manage the messages that you sent and received.

Setting SMS

1. In standby mode, press

OK Key [Menu]

to enter main menu.

2. Select

Messages > Message > Settings > SMS Settings

, and press

OK key [OK]

3. Enter

SMS centre number

Expired Time

Status report

and

Cell name display

SMS centre number

Enter SMS center number, detailed please consult your service provider.

Expired Time

The length of time in which the message center will attempt to deliver the message until it is
received.

Status report

You can select

On/Off

to receive or reject a popup message to inform you when the message is

delivered to the recipient.

Cell name display

You can select

On/Off

to receive or reject the broadcast message.

4. Press

OK key [OK]

to save and exit.

Sending new SMS

1. In standby mode, press

OK key [Menu]

to enter main menu.

2. Select

Messages > Message > New message > Text message

3. Enter the recipient(s) party’s number. (Or Press the

to choose the recipient(s).)

4. Press
