Tuner Band

4 - Tuner & Channel List

Broadcast television comes
into your home in one of two
ways: over the air via antenna,
or through a cable via a local
CATV (Community Antenna
Television) provider or Satel-
lite. The Tuner Band setting
allows you to specify which
source you are using. Use this
setting only if Auto Setup
detected the incorrect band,
i.e. channels are coming in on
the wrong channel numbers.

Open “Setup Menu”

Press and hold the Menu button for 3 seconds.

Select “Tuner and Channel List”

Press 2.

Set “Tuner Band “

Press the right arrow repeatedly to switch the
Tuner Band among:
• Auto — Automatically detects Tuner Band.
• Antenna — Indicates that you are using an

indoor or outdoor VHF/UHF antenna.

• Cable - STD — Indicates that you are using

CATV (Community Antenna Television), i.e.
cable TV. Most cable systems use STD, but if
you are not sure what type of cable service
you have, contact your cable company.

• Cable - IRC — Indicates that you are using

cable type IRC.

• Cable - HRC — Indicates that you are using

cable type HRC.
