This appliance is not intended for

the brew light is off and that the 

power cord is unplugged from the

 disconnect 

by pulling on the cord; instead, gently 

pull on the plug.

Scalding may occur if the lid is 

removed during the brewing and 

cleaning cycles. Allow to cool before 

opening the lid.

Keep your hands, face and other body 

parts away from the steam vent on the 

top of the coffee maker. The steam 

from the appliance becomes very hot 

during use. 

Do not

 cover the steam 

vent. 

17. Do not

 attempt to operate the 

appliance with an empty water 

reservoir. 

18. Do not

 remove the carafe or other 

vessel from the base of the coffee 

maker without the drip switch in the 

closed position. 

19. Do not

 set a hot carafe on a wet 

or cold surface. Avoid sudden 

temperature changes.
