You can cancel the boiling process and the keep-hot function at any time by
pressing the button or removing the kettle from the base station.
6. Remove the kettle from the base station and pour the water carefully into a vessel.
Allow the kettle to cool down before you pour in cold water again.
The kettle can be stored on the base station when it is not being used. However, remove
the mains plug from the mains socket.
If you accidentally operate the kettle without any water in it, the device switches
off automatically. Allow the kettle to cool down before you use it again.

Allow the device to cool down completely before cleaning it.

Remove the mains plug from the mains socket before
cleaning the base station.

Never immerse the kettle, base station, mains cable or
plug in water or other liquids. Never touch them with wet hands. The device is not
dishwasher-safe.

Surfaces could be damaged!
Do not use any toxic, corrosive or abrasive cleaning
agents or scouring sponges to clean the device. These can damage the surface.
• Check the mains cable for damage at regular intervals.
• Wipe down the kettle on the outside (and If necessary the base station too) with a
clean, damp cloth. Then wipe it dry.
• Keep the device ready for operation. You should remove any possible limescale de-
posits with a descaling agent. Follow the instructions on how to use the descaling
agent.
