Operating the Device
1. Connect the mains adapter to the connecting cable on the device.
2. Insert the mains plug into a plug socket that is easily accessible.
3. Place the massage surface of the device onto the part of the body which is to be
massaged (see the “Areas of Application” section). For a shoulder or back massage,
place the straps of the device around your shoulders and
fi
x them in place by putting
your arms through the loops and thus holding the device in the correct position.
4. Start the massage by pressing the
ON/OFF
button.
5. After 15 minutes the device automatically switches off. To switch it off sooner, press
the
ON/OFF
button.
6. Pull out the mains plug and store the device in a dry place that is not accessible to
children.
Cleaning and Storage
CAUTION!
■
Remove the mains plug from the plug socket before doing any cleaning.
■
Never immerse the device, the mains cable or plug in water. No liquid must be al-
lowed to enter the device during cleaning.
■
Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents for cleaning. These can damage
the surface.
• Make sure the device is switched off and the plug is pulled out of the mains socket.
• Only wipe down the device with a damp cloth if necessary. Then wipe it down fully
with a dry cloth.
• Do not wrap the cable around the device.
• Keep the device in its respective packaging in a dry place which is protected from
sunlight and is not accessible to children.
Troubleshooting
If the device stops working properly,
fi
rst check whether you are able to correct the prob-
lem yourself.
Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device yourself!
Problem
Possible cause/solution
The device does not
work.
• Have you properly pressed the
ON/OFF
button?
• Is the mains plug inserted in the plug socket?
• Is the socket defective? Try another socket.
• Check the fuse of your mains connection.
• The device has switched off automatically after operating
for 15 minutes. Press the
ON/OFF
button again.
• There is too much weight on the device.
No heat is produced.
• Is the red light and heat function switched on?
