Troubleshooting
If the device does not work properly, check whether you are able to rectify the problem
yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps that are listed, contact the cus-
tomer service department.
Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device yourself!
If the device will not switch on, check the following:
• Is the mains plug inserted in the socket correctly?
• Is the plug socket defective? Try another socket.
• Has the fuse of your mains connection been activated?
• Is the blade attachment (

) screwed on correctly?
• Is the blade attachment positioned in the motor unit (

) correctly? The device can
only be switched on if the blade attachment has been positioned correctly in the
motor unit.
• If the device was switched on for too long without interruption or over
fi
lled, the over-
heating protection has probably been triggered. Pull out the mains plug and allow the
device to cool down for a few minutes. If the device has been over
fi
lled, also open
the shaker (
1, 5
) and reduce the
fi
ll level. Add water if necessary to ingredients which
are tough to process.
