Freezing the Cooler Compartment
1. Place the cooler container in the freezer. At a temperature of -18 °C it takes at least
12 hours until the container has cooled properly. At a higher temperature this takes
longer. Preferably, leave the container in the freezer overnight. If you always leave the
container in the freezer you can make ice cream whenever you want!
2. Remove the cooler container from the freezer immediately before making the ice
cream.
Making Ice Cream
1. Prepare the ingredients and mix them together according to the instructions in the recipe.
2. With cooked ingredients, place the mixing bowl over a pan of cold water to cool it down.
3. Place the mixture in the refrigerator to let them cool down (further) before you place
them in the cooler compartment.
4. Insert the mixing paddle in the opening on the underside of the motor housing.
5. Place the motor housing on the cover.
6. Push the mixing paddle through the hole in the cover. Move the motor housing
forwards until it clicks into place in the cover.
7. Take the cooler container out of the freezer.
8. Place the cover on the frozen cooler container so that the locking clips on the cover
align with the cut outs in the cooler container
9. Turn the locking clip clockwise until it clicks into position.
10. Put the plug in the wall socket.
11. Turn the Ice Cream Maker on using the On/Off switch.
12. Place the ingredients into the cooler container through the opening on the top panel.
13. Allow the Ice Cream Maker to run for about 20-30 minutes until the ice cream has
reached the required consistency. Make allowance for the fact that the ice cream will
not be as hard as store-bought ice cream.
14. Switch off the Ice Cream Maker using the On/Off switch, and remove the plug from the
wall socket.
15. For harder ice cream, spoon the contents of the cooler container into an airtight
freezer box and place it in the freezer for a few hours until it has hardened. You can
also leave the ice cream in a covered cooler container before placing in to your freezer
for no longer than 2 hours.
