• Make sure that the meals you wish to prepare do not come into contact with
the heating elements of the device.
• Do not directly place any foods containing fat or oil on the grate to avoid
contamination of the bottom heating elements with dripping fat/oil. Use the
enclosed baking sheet!
• Generally speaking, you do not have to preheat the device. When
preparing meals, which must be cooked “to perfection”, preheating
the oven is still recommended for determining the exact cooking
time.
• Please observe the manufacturer’s speci
fi
cations on time and
temperature when preparing frozen foods.
Set-up and connection
1. Place the device on a dry, heat-resistant and even surface at a suf
fi
cient
distance to
fl
ammable objects. Make sure that there is adequate space
around the device after setting it up.
2. Unwind the mains cord and insert the mains plug in a properly installed 230 V
socket. Your oven is now ready for operation.
Grilling and baking
1. Open the glass door and slide the grate (
9
) or the baking sheet (
8
) into the
bottom, middle or top track as needed.
2. Place the foods on the grate or baking sheet. Then close the glass door.
3. Switch the top heat (
–
) or bottom and top heat (
=
) on (
4
).
4. Set the temperature control (
2
) to the desired temperature. Turn it clockwise
for this purpose.
5. To start baking, set the desired time using the timer (
3
) (no more than 60
minutes). The
POWER
control light (
5
) will be illuminated after setting the
timer.
If the timer is set to
0
, the oven will not switch on.
6. Once the set time has expired, a sound will be emitted and the device will
automatically stop the heat supply.
7. If you would like to stop the baking process prematurely, turn the timer to the
0 position to switch off the device.
8. Once the baking process is complete, pull the plug out of the socket.
9. Open the glass door and carefully take out the baking sheet or the grate.
Always use potholders or kitchen gloves to do so. Place the baking sheet/
grate on a heat-resistant base. The scope of delivery contains a baking sheet
grip which facilitates the removal of the baking sheet or grate.
