Troubleshooting
In the following you will find a tabular list of possible errors. A possible cause is given
for each error in the second column. In the third column, you will find instructions on
how to narrow down the error and, ideally, how to correct it.
If you are unable to correct an error, please use the table to narrow it down as
precisely as possible (type of malfunction, time of occurrence) before
contacting us. You will find the address of Götting KG on the back of these
instructions.

Table 44
Error table (part 1 of 2)
Error
Possible cause(s)
Possible Diagnosis/Remedy
1.
–
No system function
–
No output, although
there is a transponder
within the detection
range
Voltage supply too low
Measure the input voltage
2.
–
Output values not repro
-
ducible
–
lack of accuracy
–
faulty positioning pulses
Interference
–
Check the Sum value in the ser
-
vice interface (see 9.2.1 on page
31). If this is not below approx.
100 without a transponder in the
detection range, there could be
interference frequencies in the
64 kHz range.
–
Set the threshold (Threshold
Level, see 9.2.2 on page 33)
above the interference level. A
too high interference level
reduces the possible traversing
speed.
3.
No positioning pulse
1.
Transponder defective
2.
Loose cable connection
3.
Interference frequencies
4.
Antenna defective
5.
Check the transponder (e.g. with
the transponder programmer, see
3.2 on page 14).
6.
Check the cable connections
7.
See error 2. above
8.
If you suspect a defective
antenna, please contact the ser
-
vice department of Götting KG.
4.
Only one transponder is
read, others are ignored
Interference frequencies and/
or thresholds set too low
See error 2. above
