The Granulator pages.
The deFormer granulator are a newly created and unique GotharMusic invention. It is a great tool
for totally rearrange your musical phrases, and turn them in to something completely new. Unlike
other granulators, that only always plays ”step one”, the deFormer granulator are fully
programmable, and able to play back a user programmed granulator sequence. This sequence won’t
of course stay the same all the time (Unless you activate the Freeze knob), because it is dynamically
treating the audio input signal, assigned to mixer output channel 1.
Sometimes the results can become very strange.
The Granulator:
-Cuts the incoming audio up in small fragments of adjustable size. Via the 16 step knobs you can
rearrange these fragments in realtime.
-Each granulator step can be pitch shifted via the 16 step knobs.
-Time stretches the incoming audio in realtime.
-If you don’t need to cut up and rearrange the audio signal, you can switch the granulator to stereo
delay mode instead.
WITH THE MIX KNOB ON DEFORMERS FRONT, YOU CAN MIX BETWEEN THE
GRANULATED AND THE UNGRANULATED SIGNAL.
