Q: What happens if I move house?
A:
Simply call 1300 720 880 to register your new number
Q: Can you run a fax machine via the Ezichat line?
- e.g 2 extensions in the house extension 1 has the ezichat plugged in and the
extension 2 has the fax plugged in.
A:
Both units will work on the same line, independently of each other, only the
ezichat unit will achieve gotalk`s ezichat preferential call rates.
Q: Can I place a call through my current long distance provider without using the
ezichat service?
A:
Yes you can, by dialing your long distance provider’s override code before the
number, eg if your current carrier is gotalk, enter gotalk’s override code 1434.
Q: When you run out of credit and don’t recharge, then try to make an STD, Calls
to Mobile or international call, what happens?
A:
You will hear a recorded announcement and prompted to recharge. If you wish
to make an applicable call, you will have to use an override code or another
non-ezichat handset.
Q: What if the phone doesn’t ring when a call is incoming?
A:
Check the ring tone and volume, place handset back on base, pick it up, then
check the dial tone can be heard when pressing the send key, hang up and try
again.
