   Do not use old and new batteries together.
   Do not use different types of batteries (for 
   example, Manganese and Alkaline batteries) 
   together.
   Note that there are chargeable and non-
   chargeable batteries.  Do not attempt to charge 
   non-chargeable batteries.
   Remove the batteries from the remote control 
   unit if you do not intend to use the unit for a long 
   time.

   Do not drop the remote control unit.
   Do not subject the remote control unit to 
   physical shocks.
   Keep the remote control unit dry.  Wetting it may 
   cause the unit to malfunction.
   Replace the batteries with new ones when 
   operation of the unit deteriorates.

 Precautions when using batteries

Connect the mains cable to the mains input socket 
located at the rear of this TV. Connect the other end of 
the mains cable to a 230VAC mains socket. The TV's 
power switch has been already left in its ON position at 
the factory. The Power/Standby light on the front panel 
should change from red to green colour and in a short 
while the LCD screen should light up. If the 
power/standby light is not illuminated press the power 
switch located underneath the left side of the TV.

TUNE menu

1. Press MENU button 4 times.
2. Press PROG - button twice until Auto Search is 
highlighted.
3. Press the VOL + button to start auto tuning process.
4. After several minutes the tuning scan will stop and 
the TV will show the first TV station memorized into 
Programme 1 location.
5. Any non / ghost stations can be removed by 
selecting the station to be erased and repeating point 
1 above then using the VOL + button highlight SKIP 
function then press the VOL + button to change OFF 
to ON. Press MENU button to escape from the menu 
and if necessary repeat this operation to remove other 
non stations. Note that these non stations will be 
shown if the numeric key pad on the remote is used to 
change channels. When using the PROG+/- buttons 
these stations will not show.

By default colour is set to UK PAL.
By default sound is set to UK I.
Important: Make sure that the TV aerial is connected 
and if a VCR is being used that this is also connected 
and switched on.

MANUAL SEARCH
1. Press "1" on the remote numeric key pad. 
2. Press MENU button 4 times.
3 Press PROG - button 3 times until SEARCH is 
highlighted.
4. Press VOL + or - to enter the manual tuning 
menu. 
5. Press Vol + / - to start the manual tuning. In a 
short while a TV station will show and the tuning 
will stop. If this is the desired station to be stored 
in PROG 1 position then press the MENU button. 
The station will be stored in PROG 1 position. If it 
is not the correct station then press the VOL+/- 
button and start manual search until the desired 
station is located. To store other station press 
button 2 on the remote and repeat the above 
instructions.

SOURCE BUTTON

Press repeatedly to select TV, AV, YCbCr, YPbPr, SCART 
1,  SCART 2 ,   PC monitor, DVI monitor mode.

Fine Tune
   When Fine Tune is selected. The frequency data is 
fine-tuned in upward or downward direction by the 
VOL+/-buttons.
Skip
   Press the VOL+/-buttons to set skip function on or 
off. When the skip function in on ,the current program 
number will be skipped.

MENU BUTTON

1.pressthis button to display menu  PICTURE 
SETTING , SOUND SETTING, SYSTEM SETTING, 
TUNE SETTING and PICTURE  POSITION can be 
selected by the PROG.+/- buttons.
